Desafío Cura Brochero II: Registration Opens

Desafío Cura Brochero will hold its second edition on the weekend of October 10–11, 2026. Following the success of the first edition, the race will once again bring together cyclists from across the country to enjoy a unique experience on the trails and through the landscapes of Traslasierra, in the province of Córdoba.

With a two-day competition format, the event features a demanding route that combines sports, nature, and the region’s traditional hospitality. This year, the competition will offer two distances: 52 km and 118 km, designed to provide a sporting challenge suited to different levels of experience, taking participants through some of the region’s most iconic landscapes.

Just like in 2025, this will be a two-day race, maintaining the essence that made the DCB a unique event on the national mountain bike season. Saturday will be set aside for kit pickup and the Prologue, while Sunday will feature both races, which will finish in San Pedro.

Registration is now open and can be completed online, with various payment options and methods available: https://dcb.com.ar/entries/

Desafío Cura Brochero was created with the goal of promoting sports, tourism, and the outdoors, while highlighting the natural and cultural heritage of Traslasierra. More than just a competition, it offers a weekend experience where mountain biking, mountain hospitality, and a spirit of camaraderie among the riders take center stage.

On October 10 and 11, Traslasierra will once again welcome hundreds of cyclists ready to take on a new challenge and write a new chapter in this competition, which continues to solidify its place on Argentina’s mountain biking calendar.
