Desafio Cura Brochero (DCB), the new mountain bike competition to be held on September 13 -14 in Traslasierra, in the province of Córdoba, is preparing to offer to the participants a unique experience that combines nature, history and world-class event.
One of the highlights of the race is the involvement of Shimano, the world’s leading Japanese bicycle component manufacturer. Since 1921, Shimano has been leading the development of cycling globally with high-performance technology, constant innovation and a firm commitment to the cyclist’s experience. This same philosophy will be reflected in the race, where the brand will provide free neutral support for all participants.
The neutral support stations will be available in the Village of San Pedro and at a strategic spot along the track, offering free mechanical assistance to cyclists to ensure they can enjoy the competition in the best conditions.
In addition, Shimano will provide support for the event by giving away a selection of high-quality products—including helmets, gloves, glasses, and multi-tools—to cyclists participating in this first edition of Desafío Cura Brochero.
In this way, Desafío Cura Brochero is not only positioned as a top-level sporting competition, but also as a first-class experience that emphasises the care of cyclists, innovation, and the enjoyment of each participant in the heart of the Cordoba mountains.
Desafío Cura Brochero is a two-day competition
Saturday, September 13: A 6 km prologue in San Pedro, which will act as a qualy for the next day’s start.
Sunday, September 14: The main event with three challenging routes: 35 km (starting in Mina Clavero), 85 km and 118 km (both starting in San Pedro). All distances will finish in Ambul, in a unique natural environment.
