Desafío Cura Brochero is getting ready for its next edition and, as part of the run-up to the event, the Official Reconnaissance of the 118 km and 52 km routes will take place on Saturday, September 19 – an ideal opportunity to familiarise yourself with the routes and enjoy a day’s cycling on the roads of Traslasierra.

The event will be free and open to the general public, with anyone aged 13 or over welcome to take part.

The meeting point for the 118 km route reconnaissance will be Plaza San Martín in San Pedro, starting at 9.00 am.

Meanwhile, those wishing to ride the 52 km route will meet at Plaza Centenario in Villa Cura Brochero, from 12.00 noon.

It will be an excellent opportunity to discover the landscapes, explore the most iconic sections of the route and start to experience the spirit of Desafío Cura Brochero ahead of the competition.

The second edition of Desafío Cura Brochero will take place on October 10-11, 2026, in San Pedro, Traslasierra, Córdoba, as a two-day event featuring a Prologue and two distance options: 52 km and 118 km.
