The second edition of the mountain bike event will take place on February 27 and 28, 2027, in Traslasierra, Córdoba. Registration is now open online.

Desafío Cura Brochero Volume II now has a confirmed new date. The competition will take place on 27 and 28 February 2027, centred on San Pedro in the Traslasierra Valley, Córdoba, and will invite competitors to enjoy a sporting experience following in the footsteps of Cura Brochero.

The event, which had to be rescheduled, will once again bring together mountain bikers to enjoy the region’s characteristic trails and landscapes, in a challenge that combines sport, nature and personal achievement.

The programme comprises two days of activity, with kit collection and a prologue on Saturday, whilst on Sunday the 52- and 118-kilometre routes will be contested, finishing in San Pedro.

Registration is now open
Anyone interested can now register via the official website dcb.com.ar/inscripciones. Registration includes a race number, medical insurance, basic mechanical assistance, hydration stations, a finisher’s medal, a rucksack, a multifunctional neck warmer, a Pasta Party at the finish line, gifts from sponsors and surprises.

For those taking part in the 52-kilometre race, transport from San Pedro to Villa Cura Brochero, where the start line will be located, is also included.

Prizes

The event will recognise all competitors who complete the race with finisher’s medals and will award prizes to the top five finishers in each category. In addition, cash prizes will be awarded to the top ten finishers in the overall MTB classification for each distance, in accordance with the specific regulations.

With the new date confirmed, the Desafío Cura Brochero Volume II is set to bring the mountain biking community together once again in Traslasierra and offer a weekend of sport, adventure and the chance to experience the landscapes of Córdoba.
