On Saturday, 13 September, the first day of Desafío Cura Brochero will take place with the 6 km Prologue in San Pedro.

Participation in the Prologue (4 p.m.) is essential, as it will work as a starting order for Sunday’s race. Cyclists who do not participate (for any reason) will start from the back of the peloton. Although the Prologue does not count towards the race time, it will be a competition itself with special attractions: Shimano prizes for the winners of the MTB General Classification in men and women; as well as prize draws among all participants taking part.

On the same day, Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and prior to the start, official kits will also be handed out in Plaza San Martín (in the town of San Pedro), another key moment for competitors, which will act as a meeting point before the action begins.

In this way, Prologue will be the perfect preparation for the races that will take place on Sunday, when the 85 and 118 km races (starting in San Pedro) and the 35 km race (starting in Mina Clavero) will begin, finishing with a huge party in the town of Ambul.
